Creative team working with the city of Trenčín on the candidacy for the European Capital of Culture 2026 title is looking for an experienced, reliable and driven Production Manager who would bring this year's projects and events into reality. 


  • Excellent planning and organizational skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and access creative solutions

  • Knowledge in technical equipment and ability to resolve technical production issues

  • Great communication skills both in English and Slovak

  • Ability to work independently as well as in the team

  • Reliable, systematic, detail-oriented, proactive approach to all given tasks

  • Interest and knowledge in cultural field and scene  

  • Previous experience in cultural organization and event production is an advantage

  • Ability to provide digital solutions

  • Ecological mindset and knowledge in green production practises  

  • Time flexibility and ability to work under pressure

  • Based in Trenčín or willing to commute/relocate

  • Driving license  

Task will include:

  • Close communication with Program Manager, Program Assistant Manager and Program Office Assistant

  • Carry out and plan the production of chosen programs and events

  • Control of sustainability of the productions both ecological and economical

  • Communication with venues and production partners

  • Production budgeting

  • Communication with Marketing Manager about documentation of all produced events

  • Research and communication with suppliers

  • Building of long term relations with suppliers, venues and production partners

  • Possible working hours during evenings and weekends
