Outreach Manager
of the Creative Institute Trenčín

Creative Institute Trenčín is a newly-formed organisation that is responsible for the implementation of the European Capital of Culture Trenčín 2026. In close collaboration with stakeholders in the private, public and third sector we focus on the development of culture and creative industries in the city, region and Europe, as well as fulfilling the goals of Trenčín 2026. Our team is looking for an outreach manager who will implement the Outreach chapter within the European Capital of Culture title, with an emphasis on the values and goals defined in the Bid booku

Requirements:

  • Experience with and knowledge of ECoC projects and of Outreach

  • Experience networking and engaging people, organizations and institutions across sectors

  • Facilitation, communication and presentation skills, skills in creating methodology and leading workshops

  • Knowledge of participatory public policy making

  • Knowledge of the topic of inclusion and involvement of marginalized and disadvantaged groups

  • Strategic thinking and fulfillment of long-term plans and goals

  • Overview in the Slovak and international cultural environment, in the non-profit and public sector

  • Excellent communication in both Slovak and English languages

  • Highly-developed ability to work independently, proactively and systematically

 

Tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Implementation, administration and coordination of projects and activities from the Outreach chapter of the Bid Book Trenčín 2026 and from other chapters following the Outreach

  • Close cooperation with all departments of the Creative Institute Trenčín, Institute for Participation Trenčín, Cultural Ambassadors, educational institutions and public, private and non-profit sector organizations

  • Search for stakeholders and communication with them, involvement ofstakeholders in the project, mapping and needs analysis

  • Engaging citizens from marginalized and disadvantaged groups, mapping and removing barriers and involving groups in the project

  • Facilitating events and leading workshops

  • Representing the project vis-à-vis other institutions in the field of outreach, actively seeking partnerships at local and international level, participating in trainings, seminars, conferences and other events in the field

 

Salary:

  • Basic salary component: EUR 1700 gross per month 

  • Starting from June 2022 or by agreement
