Program Project Manager & Fundraiser

Creative team working with the city of Trenčín for European Capital of Culture 2026 is looking for an experienced, ambitious and driven Program Project Manager who would coordinate the projects and partnerships developed in the Program, Cultural and Artistic content department.

Required skills:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a project management or fundraising position • Systematic, detail-oriented, proactive approach to all given tasks 

  • Great time-management and organizational skills 

  • Track record of previous successful grant writing experience especially in the EU grant  structures 

  • Ability to conduct an independent research of new funding opportunities and connecting  them to the program and overall Trenčín2026 goals 

  • Excellent writing skills both in Slovak and English language 

  • Ability to organize work and implement the tasks under time pressure 

  • Ability to conduct a coordinated research, and elaborate and submit grant applications in  liaison with team members 

  • Very good interpersonal competencies and communication skills 

  • Interest in cultural field and scene is an advantage 

  • Previous experience in cultural organization is an advantage 

  • Based in Trenčín is an advantage

Tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Close communication with Program Manager and Program Assistant Manager

  • Communication with artists, curators, collaborators and partners 

  • Detail-oriented research for Program Manager and Program Assistant Manager, incl.  Research on funders and grant programs 

  • Writing of national and international grant applications, especially in Creative Europe and  Erasmus programs 

  • Conducting a planning and submitting applications for grants 

  • Contributing to the development of clear and compelling proposals for grant donors 

  • Collaborating with international relations manager, director and program manager

  • Development of contacts and collaboration with funding organizations 

  • Writing and submitting reports 

  • Co-creating a budgets for each project with artists and curators

  • Assistance to Production Manager if needed 

  • Close and regular communication with local partners 

  • Close communication with regional, national and international partners

  • Research of program partners 

  • Overlook of balance between local, regional, national partners 

  • Overlook of balance between international partners 

  • Help with creative links development between TN2026 and partners

  • Prioritizing workload in a rapidly changing environment
